Mirconeedling FAQ’s

  • Microneedling triggers your body’s natural healing and regeneration process. During your the treatment, the Aesthetician uses a microneedling device on your skin. As the device moves, it creates tiny pinpricks in the surface of your skin using microneedles. The body registers these micro-injuries and kickstarts its natural healing process by producing collagen. At the same time, the microneedles themselves break up scar tissue and pigmentation, making it easier for your new, healthy, and unblemished skin to shine.

You’ll leave the appointment glowing, with an immediate improvement in your skin’s tone and texture. But that’s not all. Over the next few weeks, your skin continues to improve as your body builds its new network of collagen.

For collagen induction we recommend to start with 6 to 6 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 6 to 8 treatments are recommended. The number of treatments required will depend on how each individual responds to the treatments, and the extent of the damage at the beginning Micro-needling can be used on all skin parts of the body (neck, décolleté, arms, legs, etc). Most people will begin to see results after the very first appointment.

  • It is not painful, but if needed a topical anesthetic is applied on the skin prior to treatment. Clients do not report any discomfort.
